via IFTTT The Walking Dead Season 5.5 Day 3 - Beside The Dying Fire Throwback Review Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. This one will be doing a throwback review to one of the best episodes of the walking dead ever. This one will be a throwback review for The Walking Dead Season 2 Finale Episode 13 Beside the dying fire. So continuing on from Better Angels this is an episode we haven't talked about in a very long time. This one is absolutely one of the best episodes of the walking dead ever by far and definitely the best season finale we have ever had. We finally see the group be pushed off of the farm by a huge herd of zombies that started from Atlanta and has made its way to Hershels farm. We begin with a montage of seeing how the herd got started and how they eventually hear the gun shot that draws them into the location from the whole Shane Rick stand off with Carl killing Shane's zombie. The group tries to fight off the herd to keep their home but unfortunately it doesn't work out and they are pushed off of the farm while losing both Jimmy and Patricia. They meet back where the season began at the location where they waited for Sophia. Man just amazing stuff. It's like the whole of season 2 they are basically just surviving and treading water ending up where they began. In addition to all of that awesomeness we see the first view of both The Prison and Michone and Rick informs the group they are all infected and that he killed Shane. Oh man talk about a dense episode, amazing! I am giving beside the dying fire a throwback review score of 10 out of 10. Episodes like this made The Walking Dead AMC TV Series what it is.
