via IFTTT Fear The Walking Dead Spin Off Series Still Not Picked Up Yet! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be talking about the new walking dead amc spin off tv series that was once codenamed cobalt now we find out is named, "Fear the walking dead" and that the pilot for it is complete. That said unfortunately it still hasn't been picked up to series yet which is not a good sign. I wanted to give my thoughts on this and whether or not the spin off series will be cancelled. I imagine AMC is just very busy for the most part with the original walking dead tv series and Better Call Saul. That said I think it is safe to assume we probably won't be seeing the spin off series this summer and that it will most likely be airing in the winter time when the walking dead season 6 is on break between the first and second half of the season. At least this is what I'm thinking. Let's hope it didn't turn out bad and AMC is still deciding whether or not to go ahead with it. I think it is safe to assume they may be a bit weary as its reception could have an affect on the walking dead as a whole.
