And he admitted to EW that it was even “painful” for him during filming of the first half of the season. But he tells viewers to have faith and insists that his faith in the writers and producers crafting the story has never wavered. “This season made a lot more sense once we got the last role of film in the can for episode 716,” says Lincoln. We asked the star about his reaction to any negative fan feedback and he talked about the “brave, bold, and also challenging story that we’re attempting.” ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You all warned us that the first half of season 7 would be pretty brutal. What do you make of complaints by some that it was too brutal? ANDREW LINCOLN: [Showrunner Scott M. Gimple] explained it to me in one way, which I found very helpful, which was that rather than just have a very cool exciting buildup to war between between Negan and Rick, he wanted people to want more than that — to really feel that they wanted justice, and then to also acknowledge the cost of what had happened and why they were willing to risk it all again while realizing that they were putting many, many, many lives back in the firing line. I think he really wanted it to feel like the audience, rather than just baying for blood, wanted justice for what had happened. And that, for me, was quite a helpful way of understanding why it had to be so immersive and so painful — certainly for all of us on set and acting in it, but also, I think, for the audience. You’re pretty good about distancing yourself from all that outside noise and chatter, but when you put your blood, sweat, and tears into this, is it difficult when you hear people complaining about it? I mean, look, that’s the whole point of when you create something. It opens the discussion, doesn’t it? And ultimately you have your own individual reaction, whatever it may be. And you know, obviously, you don’t want it to be negative, but if you’re endeavoring to make something different and unique and challenging — and hopefully dangerous and new — sometimes it might provoke different reactions from people. And I stand by everybody telling this story, particularly the writers and everybody directing it. I think it’s a very brave, bold, and also challenging story that we’re attempting. And you guys have always paid it off. I remember back in season 2 when the search for Sophia was taking seemingly forever, yet then we got to the barn and the payoff was totally worth it. As I said before, people are absolutely entitled to feeling exactly what they want to feel about the show, and it’s interesting the way that people view it differently now. And I know people want to watch more than one episode a week at a time just because it’s kind of compulsive, the storytelling, and they want to know what happens next. And I think sometimes having to wait is a good thing because you get to recap on other things and view it in a different way. Although I would say that this season made a lot more sense once we got the last role of film in the can for episode 716. The brilliant writers that we have take some risks, and I admire them for it. I admire anybody taking risks. The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 9 – 73 minutes (so an extra 13 minutes with commercials) The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 10 – 66 minutes (so an extra 6 minutes with commercials) The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 11 – 68 minutes (so an extra 8 minutes with commercials) The midseason 7 premiere will run for 73 minutes, from 9:00 pm ET to 10:13 pm ET. Episode 7x10 will run for an extra six minutes on February 19, making it a 66 minute episodes from 9:00 pm ET to 10:06 pm ET. Episode 7x11 will run for an extra eight minutes, making it a 68 minute episode on February 26. The episode titles for the extended episodes 7x10 and 7x11 have not yet been revealed but the midseason premiere, directed by executive proucer Greg Nicotero, is called "Rock in the Road." The official synopsis reads, "Rick is introduced to a new community." The common assumption regards Rick being introduced to King Ezekiel as seen in the previews for The Walking Dead's midseason 7 premiere but the possibility of bringing the new fan-dubbed "Garbage Pail Kids" into the mix before the 73 minutes have broadcasted also exists. Episode 7x10 will be directed by Jeffrey F. January and episode 7x11 will be directed by Kari Skogland. Greg Nicotero will return for 7x12. Extended episodes have been a common occurance throughout The Walking Dead's seventh season. In fact, more episodes have been extended than episodes which fit into the standard one hour time slot. However, most episodes only run a few minutes beyond 10:00 pm ET. In this one I will be giving my thoughts on whether or not I think the walking dead is dying. The reason why I wanted to do this video is because I really don’t feel as hyped as usual before a second half of a season. It could just be me but personally after all of the discussion about them pulling back the violence a little bit, the bottling of much of the first half of Season 7, and the recent interviews discussing what the group will be doing this half, I’m not nearly as excited as I usually am for a season. Certainly not as excited or hyped as I was for the second half of Season 6. I wanted to do a video giving my thoughts and hear from you guys why you think it might be. Q&A Trev, will we ever see an onscreen Lucille kill again of a human after the backlash the premier received? Keep up the great freaking work!! 👍👍 - BZA RZA GZA I think, the whisperers would be best introduced during the last scene of a season finale (8 or 9)! Each person has their own way of processing the losses of Glenn and Abe. But now that Rick is back and ready to fight the rest of the group will begin to heal. And once again they will pull together, not apart. In the interview Danai talked about how Michonne saw from the beginning what Rick couldn’t see. She saw that there was no other option but to fight back. The Saviors goal is the ultimate annihilation of the individual spirit of the people in the communities they rule. There is no way to live in peace under the rule of Negan. He will just keep changing the rules and taking more and more until they either break, or fight back. An Emotional Moment Danai also said that it was very emotional for the cast to be reunited. One of the unique features of The Walking Dead is the bond between the actors as well as between the characters. Shooting in isolation in rural Georgia over the course of seven seasons has created the same intense bond off screen that fans see on screen. She also said that the group can’t rely on emotion alone to win this fight. This one will be a video review for Gotham the tv series. Man I have absolutely been loving Gotham lately. Smile Like you mean it was a super fun episode. It was dark, edgy, and very exciting! Spoilers to follow! When the reanimation seemingly fails, Dwight cuts off Jerome's face and wears it as a mask as he leads a cult of Jerome fanatics to take over a news station. GCPD infiltrates the station and stops the cult, but Jerome awakens belatedly at GCPD Headquarters and abducts Dwight. Nygma, Barbara, and Tabitha manipulate Cobblepot into believing the other crime bosses have turned against him and taken Nygma captive. Bruce agrees to pay Maria's debt to Cole, but Selina becomes furious upon discovering the whole thing was a con Maria and Cole ran together, and that Bruce even suspected this but didn't want her to learn the painful truth. After reattaching his face, Jerome knocks out Gotham's power by igniting explosives strapped onto Dwight's body, causing a citywide blackout. This episode was absolutely amazing! Seeing Jerome return as our Gotham Joker and also the inclusion of the sort of Death in the Family modern take on the Joker is something we haven’t seen on screen to date. I really loved this episode and love this series. Gotham should have more fans than it does. I am going to give this episode a 9.7 out of 10. As always thanks for watching everyone! Trevschan2

In this one I will be giving my thoughts on the official confirmation that AMC has decided to tone down the violence in the show after the backlash from the walking dead season 7 premiere episode 1, the day will come when you won’t be. A few viewers have asked for me to give my thoughts. I personally do not think this is good for the series and also do not believe this is the reason why viewers have started to tune out of the show this half. I believe episodes 2 – 4 are more to blame for the ratings decrease than the premiere was. He didn't just beat them, though. He bashed their skulls right into the ground, mocked them as they were brutally injured, and swung their blood around on hit and whipped it onto Rick's face. The intense backlash which criticized the episode and its horrific violence prompted a change in the AMC series. The Walking Dead has toned down its violence following Negan's introduction executive producer Gale Anne Hurd has revealed. It was Fat Joey's death which was toned down, according to actor Joshua Hoover. "Yeah I took a hit. I took a hit on the head from Mr. Norman Reedus, and it was a good hit. Norman Reedus has swung a metal pipe before in his life I think," Hoover said. "Yeah I got hit right square in the head. There was the special effects that they do with the blood packet. They had a blood packet on the pipe and it just went everywhere. Everybody said it looked so awesome, but also pretty graphic. So i’m assuming that’s why they didn’t show that angle, they probably had a little too much already with Spencer’s guts. In this one I will be giving my thoughts on Gotham Season 3’s second half premiere episode, Ghosts. Kicking things back off for Gotham Ghosts was a really good starting point after we saw a pretty big character death in the mid-season finale for the first half of season 3. In the wake of Mario's death, a vengeful Falcone sends Zsasz to kill Gordon; however, after seeing what the virus has done to Barnes, Lee realizes Gordon may have been justified and persuades Falcone to call off the hit. Unhinged by ghostly sightings of his father, Cobblepot insults Gotham's citizens in an interview and murders his Deputy Chief of Staff, unaware that Nygma is orchestrating his downward spiral. Selina accepts her mother Maria (Ivana Miličević) back into her life, but later learns Maria owes money to criminal Cole Clemons. Investigating the discovery of a briefly reanimated corpse, Gordon and Bullock pursue ex-Indian Hill employee Dwight Pollard (David Dastmalchian), who is preparing to resurrect another corpse: Jerome Valeska. I am going to give this second half of season 3 mid-season premeiere episode a 8.5 out of 10. Really fun episode and really happy that they brought in David Dastmalchian from The Dark Knight. The Walking Dead Season 7 Second Half All Out War Throwback Review!

In this one I will be giving my thoughts on what is the absolute best part of the walking dead series so far which is All out War. So All out War is split into two parts for the walking dead in volume 20 and volume 21. Out of both maybe All out War Part 2 is the best since it features the epic conclusion of the battle between Rick and Negan as well as the saviors vs the survivors. Man I cannot wait to see how this will all be adapted into the TV series. I thought it would be fun to give my thoughts on it once again. These two really are for me in retrospect a perfect 10 out of 10. These are amazing volumes for the walking dead. Spoiler warning for the walking dead comic book series and also spoiler warning not entirely for the tv series since we don’t know how it will all be adapted but speculation warning as we will be doing some predictions based on the source material. Some people still think that Daryl is gay even though Norman Reedus has denied it in interviews outside of the show. Let’s discuss what we think. The Walking Dead Season 7 Second Half - New Photos and Synopsis Revealed!

In this one I will be giving my thoughts on the new pictures and synopsis that AMC has released for the walking dead season 7’s second half. http://ift.tt/2ik3jCA Rick’s group will find out yet again that the world isn’t what they thought it was. It’s much bigger than anything they’ve seen so far. While they have a singular purpose - to defeat Negan - it won’t come easy. More importantly, victory will require more than Alexandria. They need the numbers of the Kingdom and the Hilltop, but, similar to how Rick felt, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Gregory (Xander Berkeley) do not want bloodshed. To convince them otherwise will take more than speeches. The lengths Rick and the group will have to go to in order to find weapons, food and new fighters is nothing short of remarkable. We’ll meet new survivors in incredible places. We’ll see Rick and the group tested in ways we’ve never seen before. We'll see treachery from people we trust. Rick is confident as he will see his group and many others band together with the common goal of taking down Negan. The Walking Dead 162 Part 6 of 6 the Finale for the Whisperer War - Video Review
via IFTTT The Walking Dead 162 Part 6 of 6 the Finale for the Whisperer War – Video Review Alright what’s going on guys it’s Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be doing my monthly review for this month’s issue of the walking dead comic book series which is issue 162 the finale for The Whisperer War. It is crazy to think that the war is over already but it kind of isn’t entirely. Spoilers to follow. So in this month’s issue we see Dwight and the gang arrive back at Alexandria to let Rick now that the first major battle in the whisperer war went well and was won. We find out that Beta and the whisperers have set their zombie army in motion headed towards its final target of Alexandria. They are going to let the dead do the rest of their bidding and they back off to allow them to finish the war. We see Negan bury Lucille. William along with his remaining fighters from the Kingdom reach the Hilltop to meet with Maggie and Carl has a good conversation with Lydia. So this was a bit unexpected for me as I knew originally it would be hard to tell the entire story of this war in one trade volume. It seems like the war itself isn’t entirely over. It feels maybe a little too familiar to me with the events of No Way Out. Beta and the others not going in for the kill sort of takes away from the arc a bit but if you think about it, it does make sense as Beta is injured and this means the whisperers won’t be finished 100% at the end of the war. I am going to give this issue a 8.3 out of 10. For Walking Dead it brought a little less than I expected but I had my suspicions that the war wouldn’t be entirely over at the end of this volume. Still the zombie herd near the end is as impressive as ever and should be VERY exciting to see once it reaches Alexandria. As always thanks for watching everyone!
