In this one I will be doing my review for Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 - The Long Night. Oh my goodness, this is no doubt the greatest single episode acheivement of any series ever. This episode was absolutely off the charts. I can see now why it took them almost 2 months to make this one. This was absolutely insane. From the fights in the field with the Dothraki and the Unsullied, to the mid-air dragons battling, to the unexpected ending, this episode was incredible. Spoiler Warning! Man, to get to see Arya be the one to kill the Night's King was the coolest thing ever. Right up until the last moment this episode took us for a ride. From undead dragons, to necromancy, to undead giants, this one had it all. I am going to break the scale with this one, and give this the all time highest score I have ever given any episode, a 13 out of 10. Gotham Series Finale - Video Review!
via IFTTT Gotham Series Finale - Video Review! Alright what's going on guys, it's Trev back again here to bring you my final episode review for Gotham the tv series. This is it guys, the final episode of Gotham. Season 5 Episode 12, The Beginning. Man, I am vey sad to see Gotham go. In its 100th episode, gotham says goodbye with what I can only say is a love letter to batman\gotham fans. In this final episode we see Bruce finally become 100% batman. This episode was easily the best episode of the entire series for me. To see Bruce finally dawn the cape and become Batman was something we have waited what feels like Forever for. This series was seriously a lot of fun and one that I personally feel like never garnered the attention that it deserves. In the end I think Gotham was fantastic. They cranked out 22 episodes year after year and ended with what I consider to be the best season of the show. I am going to give the Gotham Series finale a perfect 10 out of 10. This is what all finales should be. A final episode that completes the series and leaves it in a state where it really couldn't make any sense to continue it. As the series ends, Bruce Wayne is no longer Bruce Wayne, he has become Batman. The series is no longer Gotham, it is now Batman. I suppose we will have to use our imaginations to fill in the details for how we think things will go from here for our characters. That said, I am so happy with how things ended up and am really appreciation for all of the entertainment this series brought me as a huge batman fan. In the end, this finale reminded me of why Batman is my overall favorite character in all of fiction. Great job Gotham Team and thank you for not leaving the fans hanging. Avengers Endgame Spoiler Review!
via IFTTT Avengers Endgame Spoiler Review! Alright what's going on guys, it's Trev back again here to bring you my spoiler review now for Avengers Endgame! If you missed it earlier or if you're looking for my non-spoiler review I do have it in the channel and you can watch it if you haven't seen the movie yet. Spoiler Warning! Man, I was heavily anticipating this movie since I really enjoyed Avengers Infinity War. I feel like it and Civil War are some of the best Marvel movies that have been made so far. This movie is no different, man this movie really made me sad at the end. I had to look it up to find that the first Iron Man movie came out in 2008. Wow man, it has been 11 years since the first MCU Movie. Iron Man has to be my favorite MCU Character and to see his time finally come to an end was super sad for me. I was happy to see Thanos defeated at his hands, but yes super sad to see Tony Stark fall in the process. Steve Rogers Captain America aging to his older self I thought was also sad but a nice happy ending for him. It is time for the Marvel movies to re-invent themselves with some new leads. All in all I really enjoyed Endgame. The action and humor was great as per usual with the Hulk and Thor often taking center stage as per the norm. Thanos was great in his final appearance as well. I am going to give Endgame a 9.3 out of 10. Epic, seems like the appropriate word. Avengers Endgame - Non Spoiler Review!
via IFTTT Avengers Endgame Non Spoiler Review! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you my non-spoiler review for Avengers Endgame. Man, this one is a big one. This movie might be one of the most hyped releases of all time. Endgame for the Avengers. If you guys saw my review for Avengers Infinity War, you will know that I loved the movie. I found the ending very surprising and found Thanos to be one of the all time greatest comic book movie villains. I feel very much the same about Avengers Endgame. I think it is a fantastic ending for the first 4 Avengers movies, and all of the MCU movies we have had thus far. Just like with Infinity War, the Russo brothers do a stand out job yet again of giving a lot of our heroes enough time for the audience to feel connected with them, and like their favorites haven't been left out. After all of the Marvel movies there have been so far in the MCU, it would be very easy to omit certain characters or have certain Avengers feel like their supporting cast isn't getting quite enough attention. Luckily once more this isn't the case with Endgame. I feel like each Avenger has their time to shine and the ones that stand out, out of those, do so in a way that fits perfectly. This is a great ending for the Avengers. I thought Thanos still seemd fairly strong, although not quite as strong as he did in Infinity War and our team of heroes which is really even bigger than ever, also came across as a unified team in the end and had enough character changes to keep things interesting. I enjoyed Avengers Endgame, in a way I am glad this franchise sort of 'ended' in the way that it has. I think these movies and the MCU fanbase should be very pleased with how things have wrapped up. I don't know if you needed to have Infinity War and Endgame a total of almost 6 hours in run time, but maybe to make it feel this epic and to do it justice, it needed to be. All in all, I am very happy with the MCU's first 11 years. I never would have imaged they would be able to produce this many movies and really make their cinematic universe feel almost as prolific as the iconic characters themselves from the original Marvel Comics. I am going to give Endgame a 9.3 out of 10. Epic, seems like the appropriate word. Black Summer Season 1 - Video Review!
via IFTTT Black Summer Season 1 - Video Review! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be doing our review for the very first season of Black Summer on Netflix. Yes I have finally finished all of the episodes for Black Summer and wanted to do a review to give my thoughts on the first season. I thought this first season for Black Summer was basically just okay. I wouldn't say it was as good as I expected. I was expecting a bit more for Netflix's first outing for a Zombie Apocalypse series. Many of the episodes felt like they were very low budget and not something that much effort\thought was put in to. I did find it to be fun and the finale sure is, well, something. It reminded me most of a video game boss battle or end mission, as they were fighting their way into the Stadium. The final moment of the first season was good, but there were a few episodes mid-season 1 that did drag quite a bit for me. I am going to give season 1 of Black Summer a 6.7 out of 10. I did enjoy it but it was somewhat clunky and not as good as I would have hoped. Oh well, we'll see if it gets a Season 2. Thanks for watching everyone! In this one we will be giving our thoughts on Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2. I thought this was a pretty good build up episode to what should be one of the most epic episodes of the entire series, Season 8 Episode 3. We will finally get to see the epic confrontation between the White Walkers and our joint survivors forces of Winterfell. Episode 2 went much how a lot of us thought it would, in that it would basically be a set up episode with the White Walkers just entering into eye shot of Winterfell at the very end. So here we are, episode 3 set up as the big one. Will this be the best battle of the series? Can they top battle of the bas... We'll find out next week. I am going to give episode 2 a 9.1 out of 10. In this one we will be doing our review for the very first episode of the brand new Netflix Original Zombie Apocalypse tv series, Black Summer. So it is finally time for Netflix to get into the Zombie Apocalypse game with their Black Summer. From the Asylum and the creator's of ZNation comes a fast zombie thriller tv series of the likes we have not seen to date. Black Summer is dark, gritty, and quite realistic to what a zombie apocalypse end of the world scenario would probably look like in real life. People are losing their minds as they attempt to survive the outbreak. I thought this was a pretty good premiere for this new series. It was pretty scary and exciting. It definitely is a different take on the zombie apocalypse than what we have seen before, being set in modern day and I think it could be promising for the future. Will it get a second season? We will have to wait and see. I am going to give the series premiere for Black Summer, Season 1 Episode 1 - Human Flow a 7.9 out of 10. I thought it was a pretty good premiere. Not quite feeling the characters as of yet but hoping that will likely come in time. In this one we will be doing our very first review for Game of Thrones Season 8. This will be for the Season 8 premiere episode, Episode 1. Man, this one was a long time coming. We haven't seen a new episode of Game of Thrones since 2017. With this being the final season, I think everyone is more excited than ever to finally see it premiere. I would say this first episode was a great start to the final 6 episodes for this series. We have just 5 episodes left and Game of Thrones will end. The ending looks like it will be memorable though, that is for sure. In this episode we basically get to see all of our good guys get together in Winterfell to make their stand against the Night's King and the Dead. Jon and Daenerys go for a little Dragon ride. Samwell tells Jon that he is actually a Targaryen. We see quite a few characters see each other again after many years, including Jaime and Bran who haven't seen each other since the series premiere episode. First, there was the 2010 smash hit adaptation of the comic book. A year later, Talking Dead with Chris Hardwick made its debut. Then, the companion series Fear the Walking Dead was launched in 2015. And last November, it was announced there would be a trilogy of TWD films starring Andrew Lincoln‘s Rick Grimes. Now add another one to the (body) pile. AMC has announced it is green-lighting a third scripted series set in the world of The Walking Dead. According to the network, the series “will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.” The series was created by chief content officer Scott M. Gimple and TWDwriter/producer Matt Negrete, who will act as showrunner and will start production on 10 episodes this summer in Virginia to premiere in 2020. Whether any characters will cross over from The Walking Dead or Fear — in the same way Lennie James’ Morgan and Austin Amelio’s Dwight have recently moved from the first show to the second — remains to be seen. “Showing audiences an unseen pocket of The Walking Dead universe steeped in a new mythology is a very cool way to celebrate a ‘Decade of the Dead’ on TV and over 15 years of Robert Kirkman’s brilliant comic,” said Gimple in the AMC release. “Matt Negrete is one of the best writer-producers in TWD’s long history — I’m thrilled to be working beside him to tell stories unlike we’ve seen before, taking our first step into an even larger world.” “I’m beyond excited to be a part of this new show set in The Walking DeadUniverse,” said Negrete. “Writing and producing for the original series has been the job of a lifetime and I’m honored to be working with Scott and all the fine Dead folks at AMC in this new capacity. To which he simply replied: “It'd be a lot of fun. “I’m super down, yeah. That would be awesome.” While it isn’t surprising Chandler would be eager to return to the show, the actual return for Carl would be a little difficult considering he is dead. Chandler could certainly return as a walker (even though he was shot in the head by his father) but as the show constantly changes through the seasons a new method of bringing Carl back from the dead could arise. But I will say there are different sorts of crossovers we are going to do to tie the shows together, tie the universe together in certain ways that have to do with the greater happenings in the world.” Beyond hinted ties to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) surfacing in the first half of Fear the Walking Dead Season Five, audiences could in the future see smaller crossovers: “In telling stories of the past we might see characters interact, or just see those characters we’ve not seen in a while,” Gimple teased. In this one we will be doing our monthly review for the walking dead comic book series, issue 190 Storm the Gates. Man, I absolutely love this issue for the walking dead. The walking dead has really gone in a different direction than usual with the commonwealth as a community. The place is currently under civil war and Rick really cannot choose a side. So far I would say he has done what was necessary in order to protect Pamela, but after this issue it seems like that may have actually been a mistake. In this issue we see Maggie and Magna roll in with the troops in order to save the commonwealth from a zombie horde that has found its way into their city. Pamela sees that Rick has had his people roll into the commonwealth and mistakenly thinks that Rick is attempting to take over. This in fact is not true and is not what Rick wants at all. Rick really seems to just want peace for the commonwealth but unfortunately he may have chosen the wrong side prior by killing Dwight and saving Pamela. Since, well it seems Pamels is kind of an idiot, lol. Oh well, we'll see what happens next now that she has ordered the forces of Greenville to attack Rick and the survivors. I was like, ‘Let’s just do snow’ which is actually impossible to do. So so there’s other stuff in [the Season Ten premiere] where I’m like, I must be psychotic, because let’s just do more stuff we’ve never done on this show that feels impossible. That’s part of the fun of the show.” The survivors will continue to navigate the threat of the Whisperers, steered by Alpha (Samantha Morton) and lieutenant Beta (Ryan Hurst), as more light is shed on their personal histories. “Obviously, there are some problems to be worked out with the Whisperers, these crazy neighbors that come in and out and cause chaos in their world,” Kang said. “That’s something to play out, and obviously there will be other storylines that are kind of intersecting with all of this. It’s always fun to have more than one thing going on at once. We’ll find out how this radio voice, what they have to do with our people and their world. We’re having fun working on the pieces of this season, so hopefully it will go well. I’m knocking on a lot of wood.” Season Nine ended with a significant plot twist, a mystery that will continue to unfold amid the worsening conflict with the Whisperers. “It’s looking ahead like the post-credits thing for a Marvel movie or something,” Kang said of the closing scene that showed King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) signing off a long-range radio just moments before making contact with a mysterious voice. “But it’s definitely something that I’m sure people will speculate about. In this one we will be giving our thoughts on just why fans of the walking dead really don't like Fear the walking dead. This one is very strange to me, but it really seems like the walking dead fanbase really just quite simply does not accept Fear the walking dead.
