The Kingdom however did fall during it and we see the Kingdomers move to the Hilltop. Negan also somewhat redeems himself by saving Judith and the Whisperers may be preparing for War. We’re gonna have a steady flow of announcements through the rest of the year, and then 2020 is gonna be bananas,” Gimple said on Talking Dead Sunday. “There’s gonna be some pre-announcements made, we’re gonna have some announcements after that ... but what I will say is Fear the Walking Dead is coming up in June, and there is a story in the first half of the season that has to do with one of these greater stories of the universe that will bring in some of the things that all of you guys have seen before, and it will expand it out just a little bit more, and then we’ll have an announcement.” Gimple’s hints come shortly after Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman teased soon-to-arrive news in the “Letter Hacks” column backing March’s The Walking Dead #189, writing “there’s just so much cooking behind the scenes with TWD now that Scott Gimple has stepped into his overseer role on the TV side of things.” “Stay tuned for all kinds of news as we get closer to the launch of Season 5 of Fear The Walking Dead,” Kirkman added, “and we get deeper into development on this Rick Grimes TV movie. There’s some great stuff coming!” Could Fear Season Five and the looming Rick Grimes movie be linked? Gimple, who oversees all things Dead in his new position as CCO of the brand, took on a creative-executive role in Fear’s semi-rebooted fourth season and is penning the first Walking Dead movie, likely to be the development tied to Gimple’s ambiguous “greater stories of the universe” comment. If a link exists, it’s likely tied to the elusive helicopter ultimately used to write Lincoln out of The Walking Dead. That storyline, first introduced back in Season Seven, wouldn’t pay off until Season Nine when Anne (Pollyanna McIntosh) rescued a gravely wounded Rick, flying away with him aboard a recurring helicopter controlled by an apparently far-reaching community. And with Fear first porting over Morgan (Lennie James) and then Dwight (Austin Amelio) from The Walking Dead, the mothership series and the spinoff have never been more intertwined. 2020 was previously hinted at as the release window for the first Walking Deadmovie when Gimple told EW the project was “most likely” filming in 2019, adding work on the films would get underway “sooner than later.” Gimple previously reported Kirkman was heavily involved with the project. The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 15 - The Red Fair Reaction!
via IFTTT O M G dudes! O M G!!! Major Spoiler Warning! This was definitely the darkest moment in the entire walking dead series. Alpha is absolutely savage. The Whisperers mark their border in true to comic dark fashion with the heads of our survivors. I counted 10 in total on pikes plus whomever else Alpha may have had to kill along the way. This episode wasn't really dark in a cool way like the season 7 premiere, this one was just DARK DARK. Absolutely brutal! omg, wow dude! I have never felt so guilty in my life as I do right now for predicting that Alpha would kill Tara. Man, I am very sad that I turned out to be correct this time. This was absolutely savage. You read it and it’s like a juicy, juicy, just fun comic book to read. There’s so many wonderful, iconic moments in the comics. Moments you get to and just say, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe he just did that. I have to see this on screen!’ As writers, as with any fans of the comics, we have those same responses. But with the show we have such a different array of characters and such different circumstances that it’s never going to be exactly the comic, nor should it be. via IFTTT The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 14 - Scars - Video Review! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I am going to be doing my review for the walking dead season 9 episode 14 - Scars. I thought this was an absolutely amazing episode for the series. This was definitely the best Michonne episode they have ever done. So the episode did end up being a flashback episode, but what was different from most flashback episodes is that the events that it included were actually better than the current timeline. We get to find out how Michonne and Daryl got their X branded scars. We get to see some more focus on events surrounding whether or not RJ is actually real after all, and we got to see a very interesting set of villains with spoiler warning... Jocelyn, an old friend of Michonne as a sort of children of the corn type of villain leader. All in all, this was an incredible episode for the walking dead. This episode for me showed how good the series can still be, even without some of our old long time survivors. I really hope Michonne and Rick are reunited one day, this episode was absolutely required viewing for any Walking Dead fan in my opinion. Somewhat close to - The Grove, but in my mind, even better. I am going to give this episode a perfect, 10 out of 10. I am so happy the walking dead is still bringing this level of story. For Michonne, Judith, Daryl, and RJ... it couldn't have been any better. To recap, with many of the original Fear characters now dead – including Madison (Kim Dickens) – the series has now placed The Walking Dead's Morgan as the new group leader. "Heading into season 5 of Fear the Walking Dead, the group’s mission is clear: locate survivors and help make what’s left of the world a slightly better place," the official synopsis for the show's fifth season read (via ComicBook.com). "With dogged determination, Morgan Jones leads the group with a philosophy rooted in benevolence, community and hope." It continued: "Each character believes that helping others will allow them to make up for the wrongs of their pasts. But trust won’t be easily earned. WE ARE STILL NEGAN - scorz2010 ---- According to this week’s edition of Talking Dead, some of the books in Negan’s cell are the same law books Michonne used to study. This could be a hint towards what is to come for the former dictator. While he used to rule with an iron fist, Negan may be attempting to learn the law in order to lead in a fairer way. Recently it was announced Michonne will be exiting the show after her seven year stint on the show. With Michonne leaving the community will certainly need a new leader - and as many of the new community members weren’t around when Negan was his old murdering self, they may accept him as the new patriarch. Could the show’s next shocking step involve Michonne being outed from the community in order for Negan to take over? Or perhaps Negan is going to take Michonne out of the situation by force, killing her off before claiming the community as his own. Either way, it looks like Negan is set to become the brand new leader of the show. And with Rick not exactly dead - but not exactly around to talk - could he return to the show and find his former nemesis now in charge of the safety of his friends? ---- The writers will develop a scenario where the whisperers will become such a threat that people will rebel and that's when Negan steps into the void! RJ? - Danny Palmer Sorry Daryl but I do think Beta will win this fight. - Albert Jackson I get the feeling that when they fired/killed Carl, the core cast abandoned ship, one by one. I don't blame them. Even tho Glenn was my favorite, Carl was the most disappointing death. Then Rick, gone, Maggie, gone, Jesus, killed. Only Daryl and Carol left.
