via IFTTT Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 Reviews In! http://bit.ly/2YOYGD5 Fear the Walking Dead has become a difficult title to recommend, thanks in large part to its inconsistency. After a stellar third season made it one of the best shows on television at the time, and certainly the best Walking Dead show at the time, its fourth season went ahead and revamped it entirely. The revamp started off with tremendous promise, adding Lennie James as Morgan Jones from The Walking Dead and Garret Dillahunt and Jenna Elfman as newcomers who immediately delivered a fan-favorite episode. Then, the show began to stumble towards the finish of its fourth season as the bait of a bigger crossover with The Walking Dead took over its narrative. Season Five seems to be doing the opposite of the season which preceded it, starting off without a concise direction, but quickly getting more interesting as Ruben Blades returns as Daniel Salazar and Austin Amelio carries out the second crossover. Early on, the beginning of Fear the Walking Dead's fifth season has the problem of not having a clear antagonist. The heroes of the show are aimlessly and apparently hopelessly trying to "help" people. This leads to a bunch of Morgan Jones being endlessly optimistic, something that didn't really work on The Walking Dead ... Separating its characters is something Fear the Walking Dead has long insisted on doing despite its best content coming from episodes where they are together. Fortunately, the separation is actually purposeful this time, as one character all-too-ironically points out, but this must be a very "small world" for them to keep coming back together. The series gains a lot of momentum as it carries on, which will leave viewers on an optimistic note for what's to come throughout the new season. The narrative threads which it stumbled to introduce early on certainly have potential for rewarding payoff down the road. Looking back at its preceding season though, it's safer to go into the rest of the season more cautiously. If James, Debnam-Carey, and Blades are given their time to shine within an independent story, the season is destined for a brighter fate. In this one I will be giving my thoughts on whether or not game of thrones will have a sequel series. HBO has said so far that they are not doing a sequel but the series finale for GOT was the highest rated episode at over 19 Millions views on premiere night any script series has ever had. I really think HBO should re-think this and do a game of thrones sequel for the fans and so that they can continue on with the license with the characters the audience has grown to love. Sequel movie: Drogon takes Dani's body to Volantis where she is resurrected by Kinvara. She vows to fly Drogon to Kings Landing to get her revenge on Tyrion and Jon Snow and boot Bran off of the throne. Sam and Tyrion have read Grand Maester Ebros' history of Westeros. Sam has read the histories and scrolls at Castle Black and listened to Maester Amon's stories for years. Tyrion has heard Bran's stories from Bran himself. Together Sam and Tyrion piece together the history of the 3 Eyed Raven. They put their heads together and discover that Bran is really Bloodraven. - blockbuster 2008 Still a fan and for sure going to check out the prequels. I read somewhere that HBO said that no current characters will be any of the spin offs. - Kevin Means I don't want prequels, I want sequels after this finale. And when it comes to viewership ratings, at least, that mission was firmly accomplished. Sunday’s series finale, titled “The Iron Throne,” delivered 19.3 million viewers on HBO, including streaming, blowing past the penultimate episode “The Bells” which had 18.4 million viewers. That’s another record for HBO and for scripted entertainment programming this season. The Barry finale also hit a series high with 2.7 million viewers (with 4.8 million in gross audience for the season). The GoT series finale divided fans, with the episode scoring a series-low 57 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. But despite some complaints throughout season 8, the show’s audience climbed with nearly every episode. HBO says the season is averaging more than 44.2 million viewers once all forms of viewing are counted. Dany disnt "go mad". She was the same from the start! Did you know that HBO wanted more episodes and seasons of GOT, but it was Weiss & Benioff who refused their request and said the story had to end in like 13 episodes? Then we find out that they are now in charge of the new Star Wars trilogy to be released by 2022. It should be obvious now, they rushed the ending of GOT because they had a plum job lined up and HAD to end GOT by a specific date or they would lose that opportunity. We all know Disney weren't going to move the dates of release of their new movie for anyone. Sunday's series finale ofGame of Thrones had fans divided when, after Dany's brutal burning of King's Landing, Jon finally realized that she wasn't the right ruler for the seven kingdoms. He tearfully stabbed her in the heart, leading our lords and ladies to choose a new king -- Bran Stark. After eight seasons of fighting for the Iron Throne, Dany didn't even get to take a seat before her death, and Emilia Clarke was surprised, to say the least. "What, what, what, WHAT!? Because it comes out of f**king nowhere. I'm flabbergasted. Absolutely never saw that coming," the actress candidly said of her reaction to the episode during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I cried," Clarke continued. "And I went for a walk. I walked out of the house and took my keys and phone and walked back with blisters on my feet. I didn’t come back for five hours. I’m like, 'How am I going to do this?'" Days after reading the script, the actress headed to Belfast for the series' final table read. She sat next to Kit Harington on the plane -- who hadn't read the scripts yet, wanting to experience them for the first time while surrounded by the whole cast -- but didn't tell him what was coming. "I looked at Emilia and there was a moment of me realizing, 'No, no…'" Harington recalled. "He was crying," Clarke confirmed. "And then it was kind of great, him not having read it." While she didn't see it coming, Game of Thrones creators D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have known for years how they were planning to end the series. On occasion, they would ask Clarke to play a scene in a different way than what she expected from her supposedly heroic character. “There’s a number of times I’ve been like: ‘Why are you giving me that note?’” Clarke said. "So yes, this has made me look back at all the notes I’ve ever had.” Throughout the years, the actress has grown close to her character. She's justified seemingly every action Dany has made over the years, and had "my own feelings" about the storyline of the Dragon Queen's shocking meltdown. Yet Clarke also had another, more personal reaction to Dany’s meltdown. "It’s gotten to that point now where you read [comments about] the character you [have to remind yourself], ‘They’re not talking about you, Emilia, they’re talking about the character,'" she confessed. Co-executive producer Bryan Cogman admitted to the outlet that, "I still don't know how I feel about a lot of what happens this season and I helped write it." "It’s emotionally very challenging. It’s designed to not feel good. That said, I don’t think that’s a bad thing. The best drama is the type you have to think about. There’s a dangerous tendency right now to make art and popular culture to feel safe for everybody and make everybody feel okay when watching and I don’t believe in that," he said. "The show is messy and grey and that’s where it’s always lived -- from Jaime pushing a little boy out the window to Ned Stark’s death to the Red Wedding. This is the kind of story that’s meant to unsettle you and challenge you and make you think and question. I think that was George’s intent and what David and Dan wanted to do. However you feel about the final episodes of this show I don’t think anybody will ever accuse us of taking the easy way out." Clarke, meanwhile, eventually accepted Dany's fate. "You're about to ask if me -- as Emilia -- disagreed with her at any point,” she shared. "It was a f**king struggle reading the scripts. What I was taught at drama school -- and if you print this there will be drama school teachers going, ‘That’s bullsh*t,’ but here we go: I was told that your character is right. Your character makes a choice and you need to be right with that. An actor should never be afraid to look ugly. We have uglier sides to ourselves. And after 10 years of working on this show, it’s logical. Where else can she go? I tried to think what the ending will be. It’s not like she’s suddenly going to go, ‘Okay, I’m gonna put a kettle on and put cookies in the oven and we’ll just sit down and have a lovely time and pop a few kids out.’ That was never going to happen. She’s a Targaryen.” “I thought she was going to die," Clarke concluded. "I feel very taken care of as a character in that sense. It’s a very beautiful and touching ending. Hopefully, what you’ll see in that last moment as she’s dying is: There’s the vulnerability -- there’s the little girl you met in season 1. See? She’s right there. via IFTTT Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 - The Iron Throne - Video Review! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be doing our weekly review for this week's episode of Game of Thrones Season 8. Man this one was absolutely crazy! Spoiler Warning! This episode was completely unexpected. We see what is no doubt the biggest character turn in the history of television as after 7.5 years of a series, Daenerys falls from grace. She wins the battle at Kings Landing but absolutely obliterates the city. She basically goes mad, becomes a villain and absolutely destroys everything! This episode was insane. I am really surprised they went this route and kind of shocked at the same time. I cannot believe they did this with Daenerys. I am really uncertain how the fans are going to feel about this one. In the end Jaime and Cersei ended up actually getting a lot of sympathy and sort of almost going out as maybe not heroes, but not the feirce fearsome villains they seemed to be earlier on. via IFTTT Game of Thrones Ending Reaction - The Worst Ending Ever! Spoiler Warning! That was seriously, the absolute worst ending I have ever seen in my entire life. After 9 years, and 8 seasons of Game of Thrones, they absolutely just destroyed this series. I will not recommend anyone going forward to watch this show. I cannot believe they chose to wrap things up like this. This was the most lackluster ending I can possibly think of, short of Cersei just winning and killing everyone. This felt so rushed, and so pointless I was so dejected by the end of it, I wasn't even laughing at Bronn's jokes. This seriously just ruined the series for me. I understand not wanting to go with a route that is too predictable and them not wanting to give it a happy ending, but this was seriously awful. I cannot believe they greenlit this go through. I would have been happier if the series ended 2 episodes ago. I really didn't need to, or want to see this. This was so discusting, I am seriously sick. Let me know how you guys felt, I am extremely disappointed at the way they chose to wrap up what was an incredible series. This is so disappointing. Are we ready to see the end of this incredible series? Cleganebowl was very satisfying, Cersei and Jaime at least circled back to when they said they’d die together which was ok, Strickland and the Golden Company were pointless, Arya’s arc throughout was a little pointless, Varys’ death was meaningless, Euron’s death was underwhelming but not terrible, Danny’s actions were definitely in character, Qyburn’s death was terrible and that’s about it. Done. - Light You can't become the best villian in one episode... - Prophecy6 TREVVV!!! BRAN! WARGING!! DROGON!!!! Dany realized she can't gain respect of people by love, but only by fear, as she herself said in the episode. She knows people will never accept her over Jon. There were many signs over the seasons which indicated her going on a rampage eventually. In this one we will be doing our weekly review for this week's episode of Game of Thrones Season 8. Man this one was absolutely crazy! Spoiler Warning! This episode was completely unexpected. We see what is no doubt the biggest character turn in the history of television as after 7.5 years of a series, Daenerys falls from grace. She wins the battle at Kings Landing but absolutely obliterates the city. She basically goes mad, becomes a villain and absolutely destroys everything! This episode was insane. I am really surprised they went this route and kind of shocked at the same time. I cannot believe they did this with Daenerys. I am really uncertain how the fans are going to feel about this one. In the end Jaime and Cersei ended up actually getting a lot of sympathy and sort of almost going out as maybe not heroes, but not the feirce fearsome villains they seemed to be earlier on. via IFTTT 'Game of Thrones' Spinoff Series Dead in Development at HBO http://bit.ly/2UVc1MC It's been no secret that HBO has been trying to expand its Game of Thrones franchise now that the main series is ending - but today fans are getting the unfortunate news that one planned Game of Thrones spinoff is dead in the water over at HBO. That series was to be conceived by current Game of Thrones co-executive producer and writer Bryan Cogman, who has produced pivotal episodes of the series like season 3's "Kissed By Fire" (where Jon Snow finally got with Ygritte), and this final season's "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms", which serves as a solemn lead-in to this week's epic (and bloody) "Battle of Winterfell" episode. In a statement to THR , Cogman confirmed that not only is his planned spinoff now dead, but his involvement in the world of Westeros has also ended for good: "I'm definitely leaving. I was developing one of the successor shows with George. George has worked with a bunch of the writers, including Jane, whose show is being done [as a pilot]. My prequel show is not happening and will not happen. HBO decided to go a different way. I'm working with Amazon now and helping them out with their shows. So, it is a goodbye. I am done with Westeros. It's wonderfully bittersweet... That's one of the reasons why this episode was so important to me. It was a goodbye and a love letter to these characters and to this cast." Just to be clear: this Game of Thrones prequel that Cogman is referring to is different than the already-confirmed other spinoff series that's in active production over at HBO. That series (tentatively being referred to as "The Long Night") is prequel series that will be set ages before the current series, and is being developed by Jane Goldman (X-Men, Kingsman, Kick-Ass). That show has been casting for some time, and will feature leads Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse, along with the likes of Miranda Richardson, Jamie Campbell Bower, Toby Regbo, Georgie Henley , Alex Sharp, Naomi Ackie and more. That early logline for that prequel series states that it is set, "thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones. It chronicles the world’s descent from the Golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend — it’s not the story we think we know." Game of Thrones airs Sunday nights on HBO TV at 9pm EST. No word yet on when "The Long Night" prequel series will air. In this one we will be doing our weekly review for this week's episode of Game of Thrones Season 8. Man this one was absolutely crazy! Spoiler Warning! I really didn't expect to see the confrontation scene at the end between Daenerys and Cersei. Rhaegal and Missandei will be missed! We just have 2 episodes left and then Game of Thrones will be over. I really enjoyed the start to this episode with us getting to see everyone celebrate at Winterfell after The Long Night. I was a bit disappointed to see Daenerys battle strategy being so predictable and basic. Burning Kings Landing really isn't something I think can be avoided and she should have known that they would have lots of ballistas ready for the Dragons as an answer from having so much time to build them up while Jon and Daenerys were defeating the white walkers in the North and being weakened so much. Personall I think Daenerys should have just gone in with both of her dragons at night time and set Kings Landing a blaze, I understand they want to avoid that but it looks to me like that cannot be avoided with Cersei. Still, it was an incredible exciting ending to another awesome episode. I am going to yet again give it a perfect 10 out of 10. For a 3rd final episode, it was everything I wanted and more. The Walking Dead Movie - Where is Rick?
via IFTTT The Walking Dead Movie (2020) - Where is Rick? Alright what's going on guys, it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be giving our thoughts on whether or not we think that Rick is actually at the Commonwealth in the tv series version of The Walking Dead. For this one I am going to personally say that I do not think Rick is at the Commonwealth no. I think Rick has been taken with Anne (Jadis) to the community that Jadis has been giving people to that is likely an eliteist group which is experimenting on survivors to try and find a cure to the zombie virus. I believe Rick is definitely being held against his will and if he was able to escape, would likely do so. Either this or due to the explosion Rick has gotten amnesia and can no longer remember who he is or where he comes from. I believe that based on the movie Trilogy we will see Rick escape from the Community that is keeping him captive for experimentation and that eventually he will once again Find his Family. It may not be until the second or third movie in the series though that he is in fact re-united with Michonne who will be leaving in The Walking Dead Season 10. Timing wise, he likely will not be reconnected with her until the second or, even more likely, the third Walking Dead Movie. I believe the community that Maggie has gone to, is not the same community that Jadis has been offering people to. I think Georgie's community is good and the community that Rick has been brought to, is not. I believe it will be a bunker type of military community, similair to what we see in Day of the Dead.
