In this one I will be doing my weekly review for this week's episode of fear the walking dead. This will be for Fear the walking dead season 4, episode 16 - I lose myself. I really enjoyed this finale for Fear the walking dead season 4. It went much how I thought it would. Getting to see Morgan and the others come together as a fully cohesive group and the conclusion of Martha's storyline. I think this episode really sets us up well for Season 5. Getting to see Morgan and our Fear group go around and help people should be a nice change and make Fear quite a bit different from the original Walking dead, in that the original Walking Dead Group, never really did that. I am going to give this episode a 9.3 out of 10. In this one I will be giving my thoughts on a recent interview with Greg Nicotero about directing Rick's final episodes of the series. https://ift.tt/2OcK0vD "I think I'm still in denial," executive producer, director, and makeup supervisor Greg Nicotero told INSIDER of Lincoln leaving the AMC zombie drama. "I keep thinking he's still going to walk down the hallway." "I've grown into the filmmaker that I am, with Andy at my side and with Norman at my side. I watched him as an actor, and he watched me as a makeup effects artist, and became the producing director on the show," said Nicotero, looking back on his time with Lincoln. "We've shared a lot. This season, Andy has great instincts," he continued. "Every time we get together, and it's an episode that I'm directing, we'll get together at my house, and we'll read the scripts together. He'll do his character, and then, I'll read the other characters, and we sit, and we dissect the story, and we dissect the script, and we make sure that it feels authentic to who we believe the characters are. It's been an amazing opportunity to collaborate with an actor like him, and a friend like him. It's still weird. It's so weird." In addition to the premiere, Nicotero told INSIDER he will direct Lincoln's final appearance on the show this fall. The only other episode Nicotero directed for this first half of season nine is its fifth episode, "What Comes After." So expect five more episodes with Mr. Grimes. What can fans expect? "It's a magnificent episode. I don't want to get into it too much, because I don't want to really ruin anything," Nicotero teased of Lincoln's final episode. "It's, the storytelling aspect of it, and his journey really, really touches upon some of the highlights of the show over the past eight years. It was a delight to craft the episode, so it's a really unique situation, and we had a great time making it. Even though it was sad, I think all of us were sort of in a little bit of shock. The direction that the show has gone in, in the remaining episodes of season nine, have got some fantastic actors. I love all of them. They're unique. They're interesting. They're thought-provoking." While Nicotero and AMC have been trying to keep the details of Rick's final episode under wraps, reports from Entertainment Weekly and The Hollywood Reporter confirmed former "TWD" star Jon Bernthal, who played Rick's best friend Shane, will return on one episode of season nine. Former showrunner Scott M. Gimple, and now the "Walking Dead" universe chief content officer, told TV Line Bernthal's appearance will be "heavy." "It's been a very unique transition for a show that was so grounded with Rick's character," Nicotero told us the legacy that Lincoln leaves behind, but also how an ensemble has shaped the show. "But the truth of the matter is, 'The Walking Dead' really was grounded by a lot of fantastic actors, and great performers — Melissa McBride, John Bernthal, Scott Wilson, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun. So many great actors have really done a lot to leave their fingerprints on the show. Andy, we've been grateful and honored to be able to see what he's been able to bring to the show. ... I was sad, and I'm still sad. But I still think he's going to walk through the door, so I think I'm sort of in denial about the whole thing." When pressed if the audience will cry when watching Lincoln's final episode, Nicotero was careful in choosing his words. "Yeah, probably," he said. "It's a little hard for me to say, because I directed it. I sort of dealt with it in the more technical aspect of what I needed to do. There were moments on set when we would look at each other, and we would both have to turn away, and walk away, because there's so much unspoken history between us and we're so close that neither of us really was ready to say anything to each other other than just... I think I have 300 pictures of him and I just leaning on each other, on the set. Just that, to me, is what makes it, what made it beautiful." I know there has been quite a bit of negativity lately surrounding Fear the walking dead in this back half of Season 4 but I think we have to give credit where credit is due, this season 4 episode 15 and 16 finale looks REALLY Good! Trev. Would you of rather the series of stayed the way it was before the soft reboot or do you like the Morgan led fear better? - Katrina Cox I would have left Wendell behind faster than Shane left Otis. - James W Trev Q&A Do you think the writers of Fear The Walking Dead are afraid to create new and interesting storylines for us to care? It seems they are afraid to go into new territory because of the falling ratings. - Tanner Levasseur As someone who always defends the show, I have little defense for season 4b. It's doing many things we hated on TWD - split story and plodding pace. After all the drama of this summer, these character eps one after the other are not at all what we want or need. 4a was so good in comparison. - Beaverius I am glad Talking Dead is back where it should be. I never bothered with it when I had to wait an hour. It is only worth it when an episode gets too stylish so the plot points are unclear. - Paul Toomey These characters weren't all predestined to die off. In this one I will be doing my weekly review for this week's episode of fear the walking dead. This will be for Fear the walking dead season 4, episode 13 - Blackjack. This leaves us with 3 episodes left of Fear the walking dead season 4. This was a very fun episode, or at least the last 10 minutes was some of the best we have had this entire half season, probably the best part of this whole half season so far. The Clear lady is coming after Morgan and our Fear group. Charlie & Alicia have gotten into contact with the others, and John and Strand are unfortunately still stranded. lol, fun stuff man for sure. When the Clear Lady pulled up beside the truck and started to open Fire, oh mannnnn so exciting! Let's see who survives next week! lol nice turn around episode fear! I am going to give this episode a 8.7 out of 10. I thought it was a good character builder episode for Althea and June, as well as a nice further introduction for our new villain of Fear Season 4. First and foremost, the art is about as bittersweet as it gets for Walking Dead fans. The new poster shows Rick Grimes standing against the backdrop of Washington D.C., looking ahead to his future. Of course, this is troublesome when you consider the pending exit of Andrew Lincoln, who has starred as Rick for more than eight seasons. Additionally, AMC revealed the synopsis for the new season, which teases an 18-month time jump after the finale, and a new world that Rick and the survivors are looking to build. Check out the full synopsis below: Last season brought the culmination of “All Out War,” which pitted Rick Grimes and his group of survivors against the Saviors and their cunning leader, Negan. With Negan’s life in his hands, Rick had a character-defining choice in front of him. By making the unilateral decision to spare Negan, Rick upheld the values his late son, Carl, championed in order to build for the future, but created conflict within his group. Now, we see our survivors a year and a half after the end of the war, rebuilding civilization under Rick’s steadfast leadership. It is a time of relative peace among the communities as they work together, looking to the past to forge the future, but the world they knew is rapidly changing as man-made structures continue to degrade, and nature takes over, changing the landscape and creating new challenges for our survivors. As time passes, the communities confront unexpected obstacles, danger, and of course, walkers, but nothing quite prepares them for the formidable force they are about to encounter, which threatens the very idea of civilization that our survivors have worked so hard to build. via IFTTT The Walking Dead 183 - And Michonne Without her Sword! - Review Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be doing my review for the walking dead issue 183. This issue is called, 'And Michonne without her Sword'. I really enjoyed this issue of the walking dead. It is quite different from what we're used to but I felt like it was, in a good way. Recently I think we've kind of seen an example of why the walking dead needs to change over time. We cannot just see survival horror of a small group in a zombie apocalypse forever. It is necessary for the story to get bigger and for the communities in the story to become bigger. In this one, we basically see Michonne spending some time with Elodie, first going to Greenville on a sort of vacation, and then afterwards returning to the commonwealth to find a situation where Anthony Keith has attacked an officer due to him having an affair with his wife, only to be overwhelmed and beaten down by a bunch of officers which resulted in his unfortunate death. Michonne got to see part of the act first hand and now has been asked by Lance to defend the officers in the case, certainly being on the wrong side of the situation from where she wants to be. Will she sacrifice her values and integrity to do her job as requested or will she refuse? I love these sort of moral conflict situations, knowing MIchonne I have to predict that she will refuse and be asked to leave the commonwealth as a result. I am going to give this issue a 9 out of 10. I would have to say that this past quarter has been probably the weakest quarter of fear the walking dead we've had in a few years. In this episode we basically see June and Al, meet up with Morgan, Sara, Wendell, and Jim. So we basically have a larger group starting to form here. As we have a new character Quinn that is tricked and then killed by our new villain for fear the walking dead season 4. I am going to give this episode a 7 out of 10. I thought it was a good character builder episode for Althea and June, as well as a nice further introduction for our new villain of Fear Season 4.
