In this one we will be doing our weekly review for this week's episode of Fear The Walking Dead Season 3, this is for episode 12 which is called, 'Brother's Keeper'. Spoiler warning! Man, what an exciting and entertaining episode this was. Fear the Walking Dead has stepped up their game big time this season. We haven't had almost any slower episodes all season. This one continues with the intense fast pacing as we see a herd of zombies being lead by Troy crash into the ranch and force the survivors into the Pantry. We see the death of Jake at the hands of a random zombie and Cooper as well when the zombie herd reaches the ranch. All around this was an extremely entertaining episode for Fear. I loved it! I am going to give this episode a 9.5 out of 10. In this one I will be doing my review for the season 4 premiere of Gotham the tv series. This year it seems Gotham will be airing on Thursday night's so just a heads up for anyone who was expecting to see it still on Mondays. It seems Fox is changing its airing night probably due to fairly low ratings. Let's hope the change can keep the show going on longer. I would really love to see a Season 5 and I thought season 3 was another excellent series of this show. In this episode we get to see Bruce continue his evolution from Bruce Wayne more into Batman. We see Penguin introduce a criminal license into Gotham to license and control crime. We also see Jonathan Crane as the Scarecrow emerge in his full costume set. I thought this was a pretty fun premiere, a little more serious than what we're used to at this point after season 3. I am goign to give it a 8.5 out of 10. This was another fantastic episode for Fear the Walking Dead. Man, they have really turned this series around for real. In this episode we get to see the intersection between Daniel at the Dam with Lola and Madison, Strand, and Walker. This episode was a fresh switch of environment from the Ranch that we've been seeing quite a bit of so far this season. Madison, Strand, and Walker are able to come to an agreement with Lola using some tricky tactics and Ophelia as leverage. I am going to give this episode a 9.7 out of 10. Still, it's about to get even better. Launching Fear the Walking Dead's third season, the series took out Travis Manawa, the character many suspected to be in a leading role for the long haul. It was the first true sign (with many to follow) of the show fully embracing the apocalypse Walking Dead fans have known for years. According to Victor Strandactor Colman Domingo, the quality of Fear the Walking Dead will continue to get better. "I credit [showrunner] Dave Erickson and his writing team," Domingo said. "I credit AMC for having the patience for our show to unfold at a slower pace actually than [The Walking Dead]." "I credit truly Dave Erickson and his vision," Domingo said. "I think that he's such a dynamic showrunner and writer and I think if you think Season Three already has been pretty awesome, the back half of the season is pretty epic. Things happen. We were all so exhausted throughout the entire shoot. We realized we're no longer making television. We're making epic film after epic film, you know." "I think that by the time we get to Season Three, everything is amped up and we are max-dead in the apocalypse," Domingo said. "We have made our mistakes in Season Two. I think the audience is probably frustrated with our characters because we didn't know so much and they had the cards in their hand. Now we're finally catching up to the universe and catching up in many ways to our sister series." With six episodes left in Fear the Walking Dead's third season, it sounds like the already seen improvements are just the beginning. "Things are going to happen," Domingo said. Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 - Dave Erickson on His Final Episodes of the Series
via IFTTT Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 - Showrunner Dave Erickson on His Final Episodes in the Series http://ift.tt/2wTMNR4 These are your final episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. Knowing that you were facing the end, were there any bucket-list items you wanted to make sure to address? Yes, and it's tricky, because as we got closer and closer to the end of this season, I started to have a very clear idea of what season four would be were I staying on. I think those elements will become more clear as we get toward the end of the season. There's a very specific arc I've had in mind, and it centered on Madison and Nick. One of the books and films I read and watched when I first started working on this show was Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse Now, and to me, there was always going to be some kind of conflict between mother and son. There was going to be a final confrontation between the two of them way down the road. There's echoes of that as we get toward the end of the season. It's an interesting dynamic. I had to close out the story in a way that speaks to Madison's arc and her seeming devotion to violence and the necessity of it and the willingness to do it, and how does that philosophically compromise her daughter and her son? That does come to a head by the end of this season. We can talk more about it when we get to it. (Laughs.) But emotionally, it's a strange dynamic. I'm in some respects continuing to lay track toward something that wouldn't really come to a head until a season seven. But Andy, Ian and Scott, I'm sure they have a plan in place. I'll be curious to see which way they take it. There were a couple of things on my bucket list that I wanted to cross off, and I'm looking forward to talking about that in more detail when I'm allowed to. I just can't wait to see Daniel's reaction to his daughter joining the Nation - Daniel Trev, I beg to disagree with Ophelia. I don't think it was clear that there was double dipping. It seemed to me that the militia were the bad guys, they are the ones looking for a fight because they loss power. They (Militia) are blaming the Nation for murders that Troy did. My point it isn't clear who the villains are, but I believe that Troy and the militia are the true villains. - gentman333 Glad to have 'Fear' back. It is an enjoyable show. I believe those guys in the market "city", who held Strand captive, will turn out to be the next big villains. Maybe Troy will team up with them? - Wicklowwolf The problem with Fear is that the most interesting characters are all secondary. Daniel, Strand, Luciana & Troy are standouts while the Clark family is pretty bland. Travis & Nick were interesting but they killed Travis just when his arc was developing and they've reduced Nick into being Madison's obedient right hand. Madison, Alicia, Jake & Ofelia are pretty uninteresting to me. Madison's logic is baffling. via IFTTT Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 9 - Minotaur - Review! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be giving my thoughts on the mid-season premiere for Fear The Walking Dead Season 3. This will be for the first episode of the second half of season 3. In this episode we see the Nation move into the Ranch, we see a lot of tensions build between the people of the Ranch and the Nation, we also see Troy take a stand against him basically all by himself while Nicholas tries to talk him down, and we start to get an idea that the Ranch really won't last with that many people there without water. I really enjoyed this episode, I thought it was a great character builder episode for Troy who is actually quickly becoming one of my favorite characters in the series. I am going to give this episode a 9.3 out of 10. I reall enjoyed it and think it was a good choice for an episode to kick off the back half of episodes for FTWD Season 3! In this one I will be giving my thoughts on the walking dead issue 171 which is called, Fear the Princess! This is a short but sweet issue of us meeting Juanita Sanchez aka The Princess of Pittsburgh. We see Eugene also kind of forgive Siddiq or at least thank him for telling him that he had been with Rosita. The best part of the issue for me is the easter egg to the godfather of zombie apocalypse, George A. Romero in day of the dead, Hellooooo is Anyone Out There??? Also there is a fantastic blurb at the end in the letter hacks from Kirkman about George A Romero and what his work meant to him. This for me was wort the purchase alone. I love this one as it sheds some light on how Robert Kirkman feels about the creator of the zombie apocalypse genre. Aside from that the issue is much of a fake out as it seems lik the princess is up to no good but actually is just crazy in the end it seems. I am going to give this issue a 7 out of 10. In this one we will be giving our thoughts on the first official synopsis we have from AMC for the walking dead season 8! In preparation for the premiere of The Walking Dead's eighth season, AMC has released a new synopsis for the upcoming batch of episodes. Unlike the ramp up to Season 7, fans aren't wondering which member of Rick's group will be slaughtered by Negan to start the season. In fact, Season 8 promises almost the opposite. The Alexandria community is ready to flip the script and bring the fight to the Saviors in Season 8 and the new description of the 16-episode run teases just that. Here is the latest synopsis for Season 8 as posted to the AMC website... "Last season, Rick Grimes and his group of survivors were confronted with their deadliest challenge yet. With the comfort of Alexandria, they let their guard down, only to be reminded how brutal the world they live in can be. "Feeling powerless under Negan's rules and demands, Rick advocated the group play along. But seeing that Negan couldn't be reasoned with, Rick began rallying together other communities affected by the Saviors. And with the support of the Hilltop and Kingdom, they finally have enough fire power to contest the Saviors. "This season, Rick brings 'All Out War' to Negan and his forces.
