Gimple teased how the zombie-outbreak hit will remain on the air until 2030, probably longer, and that many of that actors have said they’re eager to stay. “We are trying to do twenty years. The comic has certainly done it, and I look forward to every issue,” Gimple said according to New York Daily News. “The Simpsons has been on 26, 27 years, so that’s a challenge — so OK, challenge accepted. Done.” Gimple said of the show using comic storylines: “We try to reinvent the show every eight episodes. We have this story that is a fidelity to the comic book, but we're also exploring original stuff, and those things help us go on every year “We want to try do it better, do things we haven’t done, take risks. It's scary as hell, but as long as we keep doing that the show can go on and on.” The question of Andrew Lincoln’s future on the show was also raised, to who executive producer Greg Nicotero said: “We love what we do. It was a plan to get Eugene to get something sharp or a gun to kill Negan, that's why she smiles. The Walking Dead Volume 27 – The Whisperer War! Video Review
via IFTTT The Walking Dead Volume 27 – The Whisperer War! Video Review Alright what’s going on guys it’s Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be doing my review for the most recently released volume of the walking dead comic book series, that is The Whisperer War. Spoiler warning! I couldn’t wait to get this one for review and also to add to the walking dead collection as I am kind of OCD with keeping my walking dead collection complete as far as the trade paper back series goes. With this volume, we get a very special one. I can say this is one of the most anticipated parts in all of the walking dead series, the whisperer war. Man the build up to this volume was absolutely incredible. Robert Kirkman’s writing style has changed quite a bit and the type of story it is has also changed from the earlier survival horror walking dead to this new more complex world of multiple communities, allies, enemies, and group dominance societal hierarchy. In this volume we see the full on war break out between our survivors and the infamous whisperers lead by Beta. This one starts out really in incredible fashion with a super exciting build up and the climax is sort of in the middle where we see the death of father Gabriel as well as a fierce battle between Beta and Negan. The Negan vs Beta battle really is one of the coolest we have seen so far in all of the walking dead. I am going to give this one a 9.7 out of 10. Man it is damn close to perfect but I will say the ending was a little bit of a let down because I think a lot of us were hoping to see the whisperers fully defeated in this battle but instead Beta still is out there somewhere with a small group of whisperers compared to what they had with their mega herd at the start of this war. Man really great volume though, definitely one of the best the walking dead has to offer. Kirkman Killing it as usual! As always thanks for watching everyone! In this one we get a Kingdom episode, but definitely the best Kingdom episode we’ve had so far. In this one we see both Carol and Morgan sort of come full circle back to who they need to be in order to survive in the zombie apocalypse. Morgan sort of relapses back to his Clear state and goes from PEACE Mode to BEAST Mode. Benjamin is killed as a result of Richard’s actions and Morgan kills Richard in front of the saviors to make a statement. I am going to give this episode a 9.8 out of 10. In this one we will be first discussing whether or not we think the Oceanside could refuse Rick and the others request for assistance in the battle against Negan and whether or not Rick and the joint communities even need their help anyway as Ezekiel and the Kingdom seem to have quite a few firearms themselves. He was with us since the beginning and I am so used to him just being there; being part of the show. And now that he's gone, the show just doesn't feel the same to me. I know that characters are gonna die in the show, and usually it takes some time to accept it and move on. But i feel like this time it's different. I think that has a lot to do with why the ratings are dropping to be honest. It could also have to do with the dragging story line, but the show still doesn't really feel "Complete" to me without Glenn being around, and that kind of hit home when Rick mentioned him last episode. via IFTTT The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 12 - Say Yes - Video Review! Alright what’s going on guys it’s Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be giving my thoughts on the walking dead season 7 episode 12 which is called, Say Yes. Spoilers to follow! Man this week’s episode was fantastic! It really just goes to show that it is all about the execution. In this week’s episode we see Rick and Michonne go off looking for supplies and sort of kind of getting hitched. They find a carnival with tons of zombies and systematically clear the entire thing out. Rick has a near death experience which scares Michonne half to death. Rick and the survivors deliver over 40 guns to the junkyard group in preparation for the war. Tara decides to tell Rick about the Oceanside. As well as Rosita and Sasha decide to go out on their own to attempt to assassinate Negan. I am going to give this week’s episode a 9.7 out of 10. I absolutely loved it.
