Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video, in this one I am going to be giving my updated thoughts on whether or not killing off Carl Grimes was the biggest mistake the walking dead has ever made. did you finally get why carls death was a stupid act???? we told to you.... this time actors are angry and sad... we told to you amc just think a bout money....if all this characters leave the show... amc lead twd with a Zombie ... !!!!!! how they can do it that with amazing twd! - poom am For the show to last on longer - worse that they killed off carl than Rick is leaving. Killing off Carl was the worst decision . You cant come back from that. And yes im sure it played a huge part in ALs decision to leave. And when he goes......its over - Van Lightning YES i believe this is the exact reason Lincoln has quit the show, Ricks motivation to keep going was always to keep Carl alive & now with his son gone he just feels like he has no reason to continue on anymore. I also believe that killing off Carl wasn't a creative decision like Gimple tried to make out & was merely a pay raise dispute since Chandler was turning 18. - vicky howells I believe he feels like Rick's journey is wrapping up in the aftermath of it. He said in a recent interview that Carl's death felt like "the end of a book, not a chapter, that started back at the hospital." He also said he had a hard time figuring out how to portray Rick after Carl died since such a giant part of his motivation was axed. So... I mean... I think it's stupid to act like Carl's death wasn't at least a factor. AMC/the writers made a poor decision (which I believe was the result of behind the scenes drama) and now they're paying for it. That's it, really. - briatthedisco Everyone seems to be forgetting the fact that Carl couldn't lead the walking dead. Seen it a lot, with people saying they'd still watch if AL left if Carl took lead, but the Riggs is not a strong enough actor to lead one of biggest tv shows. Fact. -Aidan O Trevschan2, instead of killing off Rick, maybe they should cast a New Actor to play Rick.
