via IFTTT The Rain (TV Series) Premiere Season 1 Episode 1 - Stay Inside - Video Review! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I am going to be doing a review for the first episode of a brand new Netflix TV series called, The Rain. This is a Danish series which has been basically dubbed over into English for our viewing pleasure. And oh man is this one ever intense. It is a bit different from what we're used to in terms of pacing and style. That said, it is extremely well done for a series premiere. This premiere quickly grabs the viewers attention and doesn't give it up until the credits roll at the very end of the episode. premise: "Six years after a terrible virus carried by the rain wiped out almost all humans in Scandinavia, two Danish siblings, Simone and Rasmus, emerge from the safety of their bunker to find all remnants of civilization gone. Soon they join a group of young survivors and together set out on a danger-filled quest through abandoned Scandinavia, searching for any sign of life. Set free from their collective past and societal rules the group has the freedom to be who they want to be. In their struggle for survival, they discover that even in a post-apocalyptic world there’s still love, jealousy, coming of age, and many of the problems they thought they’d left behind with the disappearance of the world they once knew." I was very impressed by this premiere episode and I am going to give this episode a 9.1 out of 10. I thought it was extremely well done and definitely a series that I want to see more of. If I end up watching the rest of Season 1 I will definitely do a review for the first season for you guys. As always, thanks for watching! - Trev Trevschan2
