It was unusual in that regard. Usually, things happen and people are ripped from you in this world that we inhabit. Thankfully, there was some sense of catharsis on this one, because we got to leave it all out on the screen. I thought [actor] Chandler [Riggs] did a remarkable job, as he always has done, but particularly in this episode. “It’s a very sad farewell. And a farewell that I never thought would happen. Neither did most of the rest of the cast, I would imagine.” The second half of the season will also lead to the new season of Fear the Walking Dead that follows.
