via IFTTT Game of Thrones Season 8 Theory - Tyrion Will Betray Daenerys? Hey Trev, I've got a Game of Thrones Q and A for you. Could Tyrion of changed allegiance to Cersei now? In the season finale I noticed that the conversation between Tyrion and Cersei was cut short without us seeing what was said to make Cersei claim she would support the living. During this season his relationship with Daenerys has been damaged by losing the Dornish, Ironborn and Tyrell Allies instead of going straight for Kings Landing. Now despite being the hand, Daenerys appears not to ask for his advice in the finale where she how best to get to the North, whereas at the start of the season he was her key advisor. He's also been visibly affected by seeing the Lannister army destroyed by Drogon and he's concerned that Daenerys has no heir and refuses to discuss it. Meanwhile his relationship with his Sister has in some ways improved as she knows he was not responsible for killing her Daughter, she knows he talked Daenerys out of attacking Kings Landing with her Dragons and she has told him she is pregnant with an heir. Could the look Tyrion gave near the end of the finale, be one of guilt rather than just sadness because of whatever plan he may have made with Cersei. Whatever that plan may be, I am sure it is linked to her telling Jaime she would not be sending her army north, that she had hired the Gold Cloaks and then letting him leave to feed that information to Jon and Daenerys.
